of Diana Jap

Trained as a professional ballet dancer at the Royal Swedish Ballet school in Stockholm, Diana grew up spending most of her time in old theaters, where stories were told and where the magic of shows happened. Being surrounded by historical costumes, theatrical props and accessories, she developed very early on a passion for fashion and design.

Diana came to Paris in 2007, drawn to the French language and to the historical city where you never cease to discover hidden cultural treasures. She started her education in fashion design 2011 at Atelier Chardon Savard and then worked for several ready-to-wear and sportswear-brands.

Diana was first introduced to the world of leather craftsmanship in 2019, and she swiftly developed a profound affection for this exceptionally versatile material. Leather possesses the unique ability to seamlessly assume the properties of both textiles and wood, making it an intriguing and adaptable medium for creative expression. Subsequently, Diana made the resolute decision to channel her creative energy and expertise into the realm of leather working, with a particular focus on crafting exquisite leather bags.
